Farmer’s Markets

Find us selling Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple at local farmers markets on Kauaʻi on Wednesdays at The Shops at Kukuiula (in Poipu) and Saturdays at the Puhi Park Produce Market (in Puhi). We always suggest coming to farmer's markets as close as possible to start time for the best selection, as when harvest is limited we do sell out at times. We are now regularly selling at two farmers markets. Look for the full color hang tag, the Kauai Grown sticker and the Hawaii Seal of Quality sticker to be assured you are getting the real thing.

Wednesdays: The Kauai Culinary Market at The Shops at Kukui‘ula hosts a special farmers market, Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. 

Saturdays: Puhi Park Produce, across from the Kauai Community College and behind the Harley Davidson Dealership, Puhi Road, Lihue, HI 96766, Saturdays 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon or till sold out. In addition to fresh whole Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple, we also have the now famous Paulie's Pineapple Phrosty as well as fresh Kauai Sugarloaf Juice and Dried Kauai Sugarloaf Pineapple. Even when there is a lull in the fields and fresh Sugarloaf Pineapple is in short supply we always have Paulie's Pineapple Phrosties, our delightfully sweet juice and our dried Kauai Sugarloaf Pineapple . They are all made fresh using only one ingredient, 100% Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple. Our Phrosty taste like sweet, creamy, soft serve ice cream, but we assure you they only made fro, 100% Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple – nothing added, no dairy, no sugar, nothing else! (P.S. We do add a bit of farm fresh aloha!) One taste and you'll agree, Paulieʻs Phrosties are phenomenal!

Seasonal variations: At Hole in the Mountain Farm we work hard to bring you the finest Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple year round, but only Mother Nature determines when fruit is ripe so please understand that the quantity of fruit available from week to week varies. Pineapple does not ripen after it is harvested and Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple variety is field ripened and hand selected, therefore availability varies from time to time. For the best selection we always recommend getting to the market soon after opening as we often sell out fairly quickly.

Taking pineapple on the plane: Did you know that you can easily take Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple when you fly? The airport agricultural inspection agents will allow you to carry whole Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple off-island to anywhere in the United States provided there are no ants, or other infestations on the pineapple. Countless customers have taken home Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple with no problems, but please understand we cannot guarantee a pineapple purchased at at farmers market will pass inspection as we have no control of the pineapple after it leaves the market.
